Torznab API

Add AniBT as a Torznab indexer in Sonarr, Radarr, or Prowlarr to search and grab anime releases automatically.

AniBT provides a Torznab API. Sonarr, Radarr, and Prowlarr can add AniBT directly as an indexer.

No account or API key is needed. Leave the client's API Key field empty; the API does not read it.

GET /torznab/api

In your client, set URL to https://anibt.net/torznab and keep the default API Path /api.

Add the indexer

Create an indexer

Go to Settings → Indexers, click +, and choose Torznab.

Enter the address

Set URL to https://anibt.net/torznab, keep API Path as /api, and leave API Key empty.

Pick categories

Select 5070 (Anime) under Anime Categories. You can clear Categories.

Test and save

Click Test, then save. Set the anime series' Series Type to Anime.

Search rules

  • A trailing 2- to 4-digit number is matched as the episode, for example Frieren 05. A single digit is not treated as an episode.
  • A trailing year from 1900 to 2099 is ignored, for example Suzume 2022.
  • Episodes match the number the fansub group used. For shows that restart numbering each season, the absolute episode numbers Sonarr sends may not match later seasons.
  • Some releases have only Chinese titles and can't be found with English or romaji keywords.
  • Searching by TVDB, TMDB, or IMDb ID is not supported yet; such requests return an empty result.
  • Keyword searches for movies filter only the top 100 matching releases. If many series share the title, a movie may not appear.
