Fansub Onboarding
Learn about the onboarding application process, email templates, and publishing permissions for fansub groups on AniBT.
AniBT welcomes original anime translation, encoding, and distribution teams to join and build a clean, reliable BitTorrent ecosystem.
To ensure authenticated release authorship, publishing privileges cannot be self-activated. Group leaders must apply using their registered AniBT email address. If you have not registered yet, complete Account Registration first.
Once approved, you will receive full access to your group management console /groups/<slug>, automated release API keys, one-click multi-site sync, and a dedicated image host.
Application Process
Register an Account on AniBT
Visit the Registration Page and create an account with your group's official or lead email. Upon approval, this account will be bound as the Owner of your fansub group.
Prepare Application Details
Gather your group's profile information and previous release history. Refer to Field Descriptions below for requirements.
Send the Application Email
From the exact email address registered on AniBT, send your application to our official support email:

We would like to apply for fansub publishing permissions on AniBT. Our details are as follows:
1. Group Name: Sakura Sub
2. Dedicated slug: sakura-sub
3. Profile: Active team primarily translating and encoding seasonal TV anime (bilingual JP/EN or JP/CN).
4. Proof of authorship:

Admins typically review and reply within 1 to 3 business days. If you do not hear back after one week, check your spam folder before sending a follow-up inquiry.

Once approved, you will see the Group Console option in the site navigation. We recommend configuring your group in this order:
- Configure Site Sync: Enter credentials for Bangumi Moe, Mikan, DMHY, ACGNX, and Nyaa to enable automatic cross-site publishing.
