Fansub Image Hosting

Learn about the AniBT dedicated image host for fansub groups, anti-shift HTML outputs, formatting rules, and image lifecycle management.

AniBT provides dedicated image hosting for approved fansub groups to host high-resolution posters, episode preview screenshots, and release notes graphics.

The image host is accessible to fansub group members at /groups/<slug>/image-host. It supports all common image formats up to 10 MiB per file.

Uploading and Preventing Layout Shifts (CLS)

When release notes reference external images lacking dimension attributes, visitors with slower network connections will experience sudden content jumping (Cumulative Layout Shift, CLS) once images load.

The AniBT image host automatically extracts the exact pixel dimensions upon upload and includes explicit width and height attributes when generating HTML snippets. The release notes renderer reserves the exact aspect-ratio space in advance, completely eliminating layout jumping.

How to Use

Open Image Host Console

Sign in and navigate to your fansub console at /groups/<slug>/image-host. Drag and drop your image files into the upload zone.

Choose Your Preferred Embed Format

After upload, click to copy snippets in your desired format:

Image Deletion and Lifecycle

If an image was uploaded by mistake or is no longer needed, the original uploader, group owner, or group admin can delete it from the image host list.

  • Initiating deletion returns 202 Accepted and enqueues the removal task.
