Getting Started

Welcome to AniBT. Learn how to publish releases as a fansub group, download and automate episode tracking as an anime fan, or integrate with our open APIs.

AniBT is a BitTorrent distribution, indexing, and search platform designed for anime fans and fansub groups.

Browsing resources, copying magnet links, downloading .torrent files, and using public RSS feeds do not require an account. Registration is only needed if you want to follow anime, manage personal subscriptions, or publish releases as a fansub group member.

Whether you are a fansub team distributing releases, an anime fan looking for high-quality torrents, or a developer building ACG tools, you will find relevant guides here.

Quick Navigation

Submit a release once on AniBT, and the system automatically dispatches it to major BT sites, with dedicated screenshot hosting and tracker communication.

Apply for Onboarding

Register an account on AniBT, then submit your group details and release portfolio via email to obtain publisher permissions and a dedicated slug. See Fansub Onboarding.

Configure Site Sync and Tracker

Fill in credentials for connected BT platforms (Bangumi Moe, Mikan, DMHY, ACGNX, ACG.rip, Nyaa) in the group console. Include the AniBT Tracker when creating torrents. See Site Sync.

Publish Releases

Upload torrents directly via the web dashboard, or integrate your encoding pipelines using the Release API. Supports pre-publish preview and dedicated image hosting.

Interface Languages

The AniBT main site has three interface languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English. The URL alone decides the page language, and the three URLs correspond one to one.

Prop

Type

  • Every page has all three URLs, including public pages, the sign-in and sign-up pages, personal pages, and the fansub group console. Signing in from a Traditional Chinese or English page brings you back to a page in the same language.
  • In the language menu, each other language links to the same page at its URL in that language, and your choice is remembered. The remembered choice does not change any page: a URL without a prefix always shows Simplified Chinese.
  • If you chose Traditional Chinese or English before, opening a URL without a prefix shows a one-time hint ("This page is available in English" or 「此頁面有繁體中文版本」). Click "Switch" or 「切換」 to open the same page in that language; nothing redirects you otherwise.
  • Main-site language prefixes are lowercase only: /zh-Hant/… and /EN/… return 404. This wiki's own Traditional Chinese URLs, /zh-Hant/docs/…, follow a different rule.
  • Interface text follows the language. Release titles, release notes, and fansub group names stay in their original language in all three.
  • APIs (/api/…), RSS, Torznab, sitemaps, robots.txt, release preview links, and the sign-in callback and OAuth authorization URLs have a single URL with no language prefix.
