Rate limits and parameter bounds
Default application limits and retry behavior.
These are application defaults; deployment settings and edge rules may impose different limits.

Public RSS limit accepts a single decimal integer from 1 to 100 without leading zeros. Duplicate, empty, or malformed values return 400. Explicit limit=100 is normalized to a URL without the default parameter. Personal RSS has separate defaults and rules.
RSS q/search and Torznab q are limited to 160 UTF-8 bytes after normalization. Bangumi search, seasonal title queries, and title matching have their own character limits. Public RSS has no cursor/page pagination; Torznab uses bounded offset.
For 429, honor Retry-After in seconds. Do not assume every error includes it. Poll normal RSS at intervals of at least five minutes and avoid concurrent requests. Conditional requests returning 304 may still consume rate limits.
